Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training

AUT programmes provide educational opportunities for students to develop knowledge and skills for working with people to facilitate personal growth or address specific issues such as depression, eating disorders, relationship disturbances, anxiety, sexuality, addictions, life stage difficulties, difficulties with work and productivity, creativity or mental illness. The programmes are taught at different academic levels and have different emphases depending on the type of professional development or career in which students are interested. We provide the only clinical psychotherapy programme in a New Zealand university at a Masters level.
